Construction Update - October 18, 2000
It certainly was great to obtain an occupancy permit
and be able to use most of the new building, and the
trailers are history. The kitchen is nearly complete
- only some minor electrical work and some final testing
and it will be ready to go. While we are able
to use the ministry center, it is not complete. The
stage will be constructed in early November and the
sound system will be installed. The carpeting is in
a container in transit somewhere between here and Germany,
and we are assured it will arrive soon.
A punch list has been developed, and the trades are busy
working to complete it. So everything isn't perfect yet,
but it will be. The heating and air conditioning systems
need to be balanced to insure uniform heating and cooling
throughout the new facility, and that effort is underway.
As soon as we are assured of a final completion date
for all outstanding items and the building is indeed
complete, Doug will announce a date for a building dedication
and celebration.

no longer as construction/church goals, but now part
of our construction/church history.
