  1. Mount the camera's railing bracket securely to the balcony railing (or set up the tripod).
  2. Attach the camera to the railing bracket (or to the tripod mounting-clip).
  3. Connect power module to camera and to the surge protector power strip.
  4. Place the video monitor on the railing with a hymnal under its front to tilt it up for easy viewing.
  5. Connect video out from the power module to the monitor video in.
  6. Connect the video monitor to the power strip.
  7. Connect the soundboard audio out line (on the balcony hook to the right of the soundboard) via the red attenuation pad to the camera mic in on its viewfinder.
  8. Open the camera control door and set WB (white balance) to show no ICON in the viewfinder and leave the door open. With the door closed, it's on automatic---focus, light, etc.
  9. The red camera button is for start/stop REC (recording). There is a flashing red LED viewable in front of the viewfinder when recording is active. (Note, when recording, the flashing red glow on your hand when you put it in front of the viewfinder LED and "REC" appears in the viewfinder.)
  10. Only for video feeds to remote monitors, put the Y-splitter in the video out path and connect it also to the RF coax via the RF modulator black box. The RF modulator needs to be set on the channel of choice, 3 or 4.
  11. Connect the remote monitor to AC power and, using a RF coax cable, connect the panel video out to the TV video in and tune the TV to channel 3 or 4 as chosen above. Mute the sound, as it should come only via the audio system.
  12. If picture from the camera is not visible, using the menu option on the TV set Input type to Antenna (not Video, e.g., from a VCR).
