The First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton was accepted as the 100th
congregation of the Chicago Presbytery on April
20, 1909 The Centennial of that event was celebrated throughout 2009 culminating in the two-venue celebration service held on April 19, 2009.
This photo-filled memory book will make a wonderful keepsake for your family. The unique layout, written and designed by church members Pat Locke and Tad Mallery, takes a close look, decade by decade since 1860 at our nation's history, then what was going on in the City of Wheaton at that time, and then eloquently ties it all together by telling the story how our church developed over the decades prior to and since our founding as First Presbyterian Church in 1909, leading up to today.
You will want to buy a copy for your children as we celebrate our rich heritage as a community of faith. Beginning February 14, 2010, you can make your purchase. The two purchase options are outlined below. In either case you may request shipment of your order to an address of your choice.
