Have you visited the Giving Garden yet? Located on Madison Street, across from the Preschool entrance, next to our garage, is
our wonderful giving garden. On a beautiful Sunday afternoon after worship 5 gardeners planted tomatoes, peppers, spinach, Swiss
chard, green and wax beans, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, lettuce and onions, gourds, and giant sun flowers. This giving garden of
Eden is fenced, protected by Paul and Silas our two owls, and our plants are growing like crazy!
Do you have a half hour or so? Come on over and weed, water and weed some more. All of our produce will go to the People’s Resource
Center for their food pantry. Questions? Contact Mary Kinsey
or call 630-668-5147
Tomatoes and Pepper Update
We had our first pepper harvest. A family brought in two peppers to share with the food pantry. As your harvest comes in, bring the crops to share. We will have a basket in the rotunda for your sharing. Keep tending those plants - water, sun and love.

These items will be our July focus, however, as always whatever the congregation brings in is never turned away!
