What Career Ministry at First Presbyterian Church Is

• Help people bring work, life, and spiritual balance into their lives
• Help people discover their God-given skills and gifts
• Help the unemployed see the potential for a better job and future
• Help the under-employed find fulfilling work
• Help people transition into second careers and volunteer work
• Help new graduates gain wisdom as they begin their careers
• Share information on networking events and local job fairs
• Provide a ministry for people to share their gifts and talents

Between Successes Meetings

If You're In Career Transition (looking for a job or changing careers) - Our Between Successes Career Ministry Networking group is now meeting

• From 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
• On the 3rd Monday of each month
• At Gary United Methodist Church (UMC).

Our November, 2011, meeting will be Monday evening, November 21st. The group will meet throughout this year and next.   Each meeting will feature a new speaker on various topics of: employment, job transition, career transition, job search or networking and will include a spiritually uplifting message to begin the evening and networking within the group. The entire community is welcome to attend.

We have been meeting as a group to network, share spiritual inspiration and learn about career management and job search strategies.
