The following are some suggestions for individual volunteers in this Mission. It will give you some ideas of our needs and how you may contribute and serve in this mission outreach as part of First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton, IL.

1. Do you have a special gift or interest you might share with someone?
• Perhaps a musical talent, storytelling
• A collection you may have
• A hobby or craft
2. If you have a couple of free hours sometime during the week, here are some ways we can use your help.
• Lunch set-up
• Manicures / Hand massages
• One on one time with a member
• Early A.M. (7:00 – 9:00) Make coffee, serve snack, visit/chat with members


3. How can your family or small group participate?
• Plan and implement a craft
• Singing / Short skits


4. Special skills and/or resources we currently need include:
• Magazines / Books from library
• Health / Fitness information for the elderly
• Music / Videos from the members’ era


5. Other opportunities for volunteers include:
• Pet visits
• Assist with housekeeping chores
• Bring in snacks for refreshments – Fruit, cheeses, veggies
