Hands-On Partners
Hands together

Family mission activities are for those parishoners who feel the calling to support people through initiatives based in partner organizations.  Several opportunities are available.

Mexicali Team

Our church has established a partnership with local service agencies to help provide for the needs of individuals in our community. We provide both personal hands-on (- symbol) and financial support (- symbol) to our mission partners as tagged below.

Canto de Esperanza Presbyterian Church hands-on financial
This Latino Presbyterian Church is located in Cicero, IL.  For many years our church, Canto, and Heritage Presbyterian Church of Carol Stream, IL have partnered together on a multi-church, multi-ethnic, and multi-national experience in Mexicali, Mexico.  Beyond this, through Canto, First Presbyterian seeks to be a part of the truly Catholic character of the Christian Church, servicing alongside others whom Christ has called, but from a very different part of the world and a very different present context  than ours.  Contact: Pastor Jay Moses.

WF Mission Trip hands-on financial
Senior high school youth group (Westminster Fellowship) activities include an annual field trip in June. For additional information, see the Youth section of this website.
