Kemmerer Village

First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton
715 North Carlton Avenue, Wheaton, Illinois 60187, (630) 668-5147

Kemmerer Village is a mission of the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton. Children that are dependent, neglected or have behavioral disorders are served with residential care and schooling. Kemmerer Village has been in operation for over 88 years and throughout those years churches in the Synod of Lincoln Trails have financially supported this program which is located in Assumption, Illinois.

Kemmerer Village combines the traditional spiritual beliefs of the Presbyterian Church with professional child welfare standards to change the lives of children and families.

Recently a new campus center was just completed and it contains a chapel, modern kitchen, dining hall and administrative offices.

Ways to Help -

Our “Campbell Labels for Education” and General Mills “Box Tops for Education” programs help Kemmerer Village acquire many academic and athletic items. Books, computers and sports gear have recently been exchanged for your labels and box tops. You can continue to assist by saving the front panel of Campbell products and the “Box Tops for Education” logos from the tops of General Mills boxes. These can be placed in containers located in the pantry off the Dining Room in the church Parish House. Please save them for this worthy cause.
