2. If you have a couple of free hours sometime during the week, here are some ways we
can use your help.

· Distribute, unload or sort food in the food pantry. Monday or Tuesday 7:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday 8:15-10:30 a.m. (call Pat at 682-3844)
· Sort clothing and serve clients in clothes closet. Monday 8:45-11:00 a.m., Tuesday 8:45-11:00 a.m. or 12:45-3:00 p.m., Wednesday 8:45-11:00 a.m. or 12:45-3:00 p.m., Thursday 8:45-11:00 a.m., Friday 8:45-11:00 a.m. or 12:45-3:00 p.m (Call Pat at 682-3844)
· Teach a basic computer class - evenings or Saturdays (Call Kathy at 784-9372)
· Translate during food pantry hours (Call Pat at 682-3844)
· Teach an art class Thursday evening (Call Pat at 682-3844)
· Tutor an individual in English (Call Pam at 682-5402)
· Provide childcare for family literacy program at Wegner School in West Chicago Two hours on Tuesday or Wednesday evening. (Call Pam at 682-5402)

3. How can your family or small group participate? (Call Pat at 682-3844)

· Sponsor food drive
· Sponsor "Bucket of Cleaning Supplies" Drive - Fill empty buckets with cleaning supplies to be distributed to families coming for food
· Sponsor "Birthday Bags" - Fill bags, boxes or the like with items needed for a birthday, such as, cake mix, frosting, candles, plates, napkins, tablecloth.
· Distribute food 1st or 2nd Saturday of the month 9:00-11:30 a.m.

4. Special resources we currently need include:

· Funds to purchase food (We average 1400 families per month coming for food.)
· Diapers, baby wipes, formula
· Used computers (Pentium I and above), keyboards, monitors (Call 784-9372 for information & directions to computer center.)
