1. Do you have a special gift or interest you might share with someone?
(i.e.; computer basics, financial planning, childcare, automobile maintenance, etc.)

2. If you have a couple of free hours sometime during the week, here are some ways we
can use your help.

· Tutor a single parent to learn basic computer skills; 1:1 relationship on site
· Meet with a mentor and a single parent to explain financial processes, credit reports, etc.
· Teach a single parent to cook or plan a meal
· Babysit for 1-2 hrs. one evening during the week to allow a single parent to take a class
· Teach a single mom basic car care and maintenance, i.e.; how to change the oil, check the radiator, check fluids, emergency principles, etc.

3. How can your family or small group participate?

· Adopt a family and remember them at special times during the year, with food, small remembrances, etc.
- Birthdays
- Holidays
- Special events; i.e.; back to school, valentines, graduation, etc.

4. Special skills and/or resources we currently need?

· Tutors for computer resource lab at Glendale Heights. 1 hr/week
· Plan and prepare or collect Thanksgiving meal for 1-3 families ; mentor(s) will deliver.
· Gift certificate(s) for family(ies) birthday - Nov. 3, 6 yr.old boy

5. Other opportunities for volunteers include:

· Mentor a family ( training provided with ongoing mentor support)
· Donate household items as needed
· Donate used vehicle
· Help in preparing an apartment for a new family as needed
