On Sunday, January 17, 2010, we gathered in the Rotunda to wish "Farewell and Godspeed" to our departing Celebration Service Coordinator, Jeff Leavitt. Pictured from left to right are Sue Massaro, Jeff Leavitt, Jo Albert, and David Lincoln, our Director of Music, all four of whom have been among the people most involved with Celebration Service Planning over the past two years.

Dr. Paul Kirbas thanked Jeff for his work as our Celebration Service Coordinator for the past two years during both the 8:40 and 11:00 a.m. services. The cake served in the Rotunda also showed: "Thank you, Jeff."

Our Westminster Fellowship (WF) High School Youth Group Bake Sale was also held in the Rotunda following the 8:40 a.m. worship service on January 17, 2010.
On January 12, 2010. Haiti had been devastated following a magnitude 7 earthquake with an epicenter about 10 miles away from the capital city of Port-Au-Prince. Major buildings including hospitals, offices, hotels, and shops collapsed, burying thousands of people beneath rubble. The death toll was known to be about 70,000 by January 17, with thousands still missing.
All of the proceeds from the WF Bake Sale were donated to World Vision's Haiti Earthquake Relief.

In addition, as they do following the 8:40 a.m. worship service every Sunday, our deacons and their assistants were serving coffee and lemonade in the Rotunda.
In the link area between the Rotunda and Stewart Hall generic plaid scarves were being offered for sale for $10 each to members who do not have official tartans for our Kirkin' o' the Tartans events on February 6-7, 2010.
