Graders Interview
Pastor Jerry Landrey
| On February 5, 2006, Pastor Jerry Landrey joined the 5th grade
Sunday School for the third annual “Interview a Pastor” Sunday.
The boys and girls had spent a few weeks thinking of questions
they wanted to ask Pastor Jerry. Parents were invited. The three
following pictures are from that event. |

|
As a result of that interview, Pastor Jerry and his wife, Carolyn
Landrey, agreed to come back to class on March 12, 2006, and provide
the students a taste and history of India.
|
|
| Pastor Jerry showed the 5th graders where he lived and where
he went to school. He provided a history of his parent’s missionary
work and some stories about his travels and the people he knew.

|
 |
| Carolyn made Chicken Curried Rice with various breads and
sauces, she dressed some of us in typical Indian clothing, brought
samples of fabric, taught some of the Indian words, provided a
sample of a marriage solicitation along with an explanation of
the wide array of cultures and mannerisms found in India. |
