Easter Egg Hunt and Craft Party
April 7, 2007

|
Our annual Easter egg hunt and craft party
on Saturday, April 7, 2007, was a big success despite the chilly
weather. As usual registration had included the request to bring one dozen plastic
eggs, filled with surprises, for each child to the church office
by April 4.
The party was for children age 3 through Grade 3 and their
adults. |
| The children and the adults first enjoyed various craft activities
in Stewart Hall. There were plenty of tables, although
some children chose to use the floor. |
 |
|
| After the craft projects were picked up, the children then
enjoyed cookies and lemonade. No First Presbyterian Church
party would be complete without food! |
Everyone then bundled up for the Easter egg hunt. Shelley
Iliff, our Children's Ministry Coordinator, had all the children
sit down in a big circle and answered questions.
She also taught the children the Easter greeting: "Christ
is risen!" "Christ is risen,
indeed!" |

|
No one forgot a coat this weekend!
|
Shelley Iliff explained the procedures
for the Easter egg hunt, and everyone went down the hall to the
door. |
|
|
It didn't take long for these children to find the Easter eggs!
|
Our thanks to Bob Stevens for the photos
and information!
A special thanks to Fred Rosen and Caitie
Bryant for "hiding" the
eggs and to Julie Kaufman for preparing the snacks.
