Reception for Jerry and Carolyn Landrey - August 27, 2006
| The people of First Presbyterian Church enjoyed the opportunity
to thank and say goodbye to Jerry and Carolyn Landrey at a farewell
reception on August 27, 2006. Although they were here only
18 months, they had become very much a part of our church family;
and they will be missed.

| Members of the Interim Pastor Nominating Committee, who had
selected Jerry Landrey out of the many applicants for the position
of Interim Pastor, Head of Staff, in 2005, presented Jerry and
Carolyn with a serving dish and a Timothy Botts' Bible.
The members of this committee were Kathy Benson, Denny Lawson,
Carol Potter, Betty Strunk, David Trumpy, and Jerry Meyer, who
had been the moderator. |
