Third Graders' Mission Project
Snack Packs for PADS -
March 14, 2010
Our third grade Sunday School class worked in an assembly line manor making snack bags of trail mix to share with the people at PADS on Sunday, March 14, 2010. Everyone had a great time making them; and the folks at PADS were very appreciative when their teacher, Tara Schreiner, dropped them off on Monday, March 15. Members of First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton of all ages enjoy helping others and participating in mission projects.
The above photo was taken of the basket in the kitchen at PADS. The note says, "Snacks for you! Enjoy a bag of Trail Mix made for you by the 3rd Grade Sunday School class from First Presbyterian Church in Wheaton. (Latex gloves were used in assembly. No peanuts are included.)"
