Palm Sunday and
Mission Fair
April 5, 2009
| Because of the rainy weather, our Palm Sunday procession to the Sanctuary prior to the 8:40 a.m. service on April 5, 2009, was held indoors. The pastors, choir members, and worshippers gathered in Stewart Hall.
Dr. James Kombo from Daystar University, Nairobi, Kenya, spoke briefly to the crowd. Everyone then waved their
palm fronds as they proceeded down the hallway, known as the link, to the Sanctuary. |

Our Mission Fair was held between services in the Ministry Center the same day, Palm Sunday, April 5, 2009.
The rain had stopped before 10:30 a.m., although it was still chilly and windy. The worshippers attending the 11:00 a.m. service gathered outside the Sanctuary entrance on Jefferson Avenue, and palm fronds were distributed.
