Preschoolers on playground

First Pres Preschool has a playground in a park-like enclosed setting.

The children learn to take turns, socialize appropriately, and develop their creativity using the playground toys and equipment.

The playground comes alive in the mornings and afternoons as the students socialize with their friends and play on the equipment.

In the photo on the right, three of our preschoolers have a great time riding the airplane glider on the playground.

Our preschoolers also develop their coordination and large muscles while enjoying playground activities, including riding tricycles.

Our preschoolers also learn to work together and use their imaginations indoors.

In the photo on the right, three of the boys are having fun with the water table.

Our preschoolers enjoy self-directed activities indoors, practicing their social skills and developing their imaginations.

The housekeeping corner is a popular spot for imaginary play at First Presbyterian Preschool.

Our thanks to Chandra Gravit for the photos and to the parents
of the children for permission to display the photos!
