During Pres Fest 2002 on September
8, 2002, Pastor Kate Lindberg was
honored for her ten years of service
at First Presbyterian Church. Doug
Brouwer, Bob Young, Ann Flansburg,
and several others who shared assignments
with Kate all gave some remembrances
on the ways that Kate had served and
improved our church. Although the
program was a light hearted spoof
of Kate's desire to "Have a Ball,"
the congregation had the opportunity
to give sincere thanks for her work
and presented her with an engraved
necklace and huge scrapbook full of
congratulatory notes and fond remembrances.
