Many of our Stephen Ministers gathered at the home of Bob and Kathy Young on June 7, 2010, to recognize and celebrate the commissioning of the latest class of Stephen Ministers, Jane Daniels, Diane Easter, Fred Hutson, and Dave Chiesa.  (Dave was unable to attend that evening.) 

Following a delightful pot luck dinner small awards were given to the honorees as well as presentations to Pastor Kyle Roggenbuck and to Stephen Ministry Leaders Henrieta Ribeiro, Beth Stremel, and Bob Young in recognition of their assistance to the Stephen Ministry Program.

Over 100 members of First Presbyterian Church have completed the 50-hour training program and been commissioned as Stephen Ministers over the years; and many of them are still active in our Stephen Ministry program, providing distinctively Christian care and support to others in times of need.
