Sunday - May 20, 2007
On Youth Sunday, May 20, 2007,
all three services were conducted by the high school students
of First Presbyterian Church. Our graduating seniors were blessed
at the 8:40 service, and the Confirmation Class of 2007 was welcomed
at the 11:00 service. The messages of all fourteen high
school seniors can be heard and downloaded as mp3 files. |

The above photos of our Youth Sunday participants were taken
between the 8:40 and 11:00 a.m. services.

|
At the 7:30 a.m. service, which was held in the Sanctuary,
high school students provided the music, led the Prayer of Confession,
read the scriptures, and gave the three messages.
During the 7:30 and 8:40 a.m. services the students wore bright
red shirts that said "Christ the King - Have It His Way." |
The services at 8:40 and 11:00 a.m. were held in the Ministry
Center, and all worship leadership was provided by the high school
students.
Prior to the 11:00 a.m. service the students changed to dressier
clothing. |
|
|
Each of the seniors presenting messages did a great job! |
| All of the students participated in singing praise to the
Prince of Peace, the King of Kings. |
|
|
The service concluded with everyone singing "Lord Reign in
Me." |
The sermons can now be heard and downloaded as mp3 files! Left
click on each student's name to listen to the sermon using Window's
