Jeff has been around the Chicago area for many years, growing up in the south suburbs and making his home in several other southwest and western suburban locations.

He and his wife, Karen, currently live in Villa Park.  Their sons, Josh and Ricky, make every day an adventure for the family.

Jeff was hired in late 2007 as the Celebration Service Coordinator.  He was raised in the Lutheran church, but has also been involved with Presbyterian, Baptist, Evangelical Mennonite, and non-denominational traditions.

The focus of worship, regardless of religious affiliation, is to exalt Jesus Christ through prayer, praise, and the proclamation of the Word.  In short, when we worship, “It’s not about you, it’s not about me, it’s all about Him!”  Sunday worship is important, and it should be woven throughout the rest of our lives as well.  As Jesus said, the most important commandment is to: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”  The Celebration Service is designed to help all who attend, both believer and seeker, experience God’s presence in rich and meaningful ways.

In his spare time (and there’s not much of this, by the way), he enjoys running with Karen, shooting a few hoops, teaching guitar, and writing and recording original songs.  You can check out his web site at www.onefiftythree.net.
