Joan Johnson - Financial Secretary

Joan grew up in Chicago but has lived in Wheaton for the last 20 years.

She attended DePaul University and has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA.  Joan worked for First National Bank of Chicago and Continental Bank in the areas of International Accounting, International Operations, and Cash Management.

In 1992, Joan left Continental Bank to spend more time with her growing family.

Since then she has done contract work for the bank and has held various part-time positions.  In addition, Joan has been active in the PTA and church activities including teaching Sunday School and VBS.

Joan is married to Steve, who works for Bank of America. They have three children, Katie, Erica, and Tom.  Joan and her family are pleased to be joining the First Presbyterian Church of Wheaton.
