Paul Burgess - Connections Ministry Coordinator

Paul was born in New York State and grew up in Michigan.  Using a music scholarship, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and went on to Ohio State for a Masters Degree, also in EE.

He had a technical and management career with one company (although its name changed from Bell Labs, then to AT&T, and finally to Lucent), and retired in 2001.

Since then, he has been at least as busy as when he was at Lucent, mostly doing a variety of music things and church responsibilities.  He continues to play for all kinds of musical events, including recitals.  He continues to accompany Westminster Choir, to direct the Two or More Praise Band, to serve as a Stephen Minister, and has been an elder and the facilitator for the Worship Planning Committee.

Paul is married to Beth, who owns her own tutoring business, and they live in Wheaton.  Between them, they have four children: three sons and a daughter.  All but one son live locally.  They’ve really enjoyed traveling to lots of places around the world, but particularly to Seattle to see their two grandsons!
