Shelley Iliff - Children's Ministry Coordinator

Shelley has been serving as the coordinator of Children’s Ministries since 1992.  She had been serving as an elder liason to the children’s ministries when there was a need for staff in that area, so began the job “until we find somebody.”  She feels thankful for the opportunity to serve all the wonderful children and families of this congregation.

Shelley grew up in Ohio and received her BA from Denison University and her BSN from Case Western Reserve University.  She enjoyed working as a nurse until 1989, during which time she completed her MSN from Loyola University in Chicago.  She feels that in many ways nursing was good preparation for ministry.

Her family is a great joy to her!   She met her husband, Scott, at Denison; and they married in 1977.  Together they have three daughters who grew up in this church.  Kimberly (married to David DeJesus ~ and mother to David Kingston), Sarah (married to Trajan McGill), and Megan ~ this year a senior in college.  Spending time with family and friends is her favorite thing to do.
